StarFish earrings

Artisan ceramic from the talented ceramist Donna Perlimplim featuring Ernst Haeckel in my assemblage.
In this pair I used the star fish (decal fired into the ceramic to incorporate it in the clay), solid copper frame soldered by me meticulously ornate with sections of delicate antique copper chain ( soldered links) to make the fringes, a little Coral bead, a dark olive green Hessonite stone, seed glass beads from Indonesian in red and beige.
Finished with solid copper ear wires.
Metal oxidized and lightly polished for a rustic look.

One of a kind.

They dangle 3 13/16 inches long, including dangling chain.
Weight: 9 gr each.
For your reference: 0.25 cents coin is 5gr
