my life.
Intimate, deep, like a feeling
you keep discreet.
A pacified vulcano.
So dormant that a shepherd
may graze your cattle on it.
But the verses, later,
fruits of the dream of that same life,
will be shot at point blank
against the serenity of those who pass by.
So it's no longer me who testifies
the grace of the poetry: it's her, prisoner,
that seeing the prison door open,
like a spark that jumps from a fire,
in an aggressive fury breaks free.'
