Fringed Brass Soleil earrings n2

I hand forged a brass circle, soldered and hammered it for a delicate texture and ornate it with my handmade brass paddles. Finished with solid brass ear wires.

These paddles were handmade one by one, not the commercial ones made by machines. It consists in cutting the wire, shaping, hammering, hammering and hammering again with a second different hammer, oxidizing, applying the patina and polishing it.
A time consuming work that worths for the beauty of this piece.

They dangle 3 5/16 inches long from the top of ear wires to the bottom of the longest paddle.
Brass circle is 1 2/8 inches in diameter.
