This ring was handmade by me mounting a large Picture Jasper cabochon in this mixed metal construction. The top (bezel and ball wire) that surround the stone are sterling and fine silver. The base and the large band that goes in contact with your finger is solid jeweler brass.
A beautiful piece, a statement ring.
Use brass as a component of some parts is a more affordable way to offer rings. If this ring was to be made entirely with sterling, the price would have to be higher to cover the cost of the silver.
Mandrel shows n7 for the ring
The face of the ring, including stone and ball wire around is 2 x 1 inches.
Oxidized and polished.
Please use jewelry cloth or steel wool n0000 to remove occasional tarnish.
