Alegria, Alegria is an analogy for Brazilian music of the Tropicalia Movement. It was a song that spoke of freedom and joy of being living, but mainly was a critique against the military regime that was in power and censored violently the citizens in all its forms of expression, including artistic freedom, at that time in Brazil. The composer and musician used some metaphors to criticize, between lines, the dictators. He was the one of those who were exiled in London by the military government. But despite of all the nonsense things that happened at that time in Brazil, the art, the music and the joy of the Brazilian folks resisted.
A statement of freedom and artistic creation.

Components: Indonesian glass beads in green and natural color, Mykono spiral bead, solid copper components, Jasper stone.
Finished with solid copper ear wires.

Dangle 3 1/16 inches long total.
