Alegria, Alegria is an analogy for Brazilian music of the Tropicalia Movement. It was a song that spoke of freedom and joy of being living, but mainly was a critique against the military regime that was in power and censored violently the citizens in all its forms of expression, including artistic freedom, at that time in Brazil. The composer and musician used some metaphors to criticize, between lines, the dictators. He was the one of those who were exiled in London by the military government. But despite of all the nonsense things that happened at that time in Brazil, the art, the music and the joy of the Brazilian folks resisted.
Alegria Series is a statement of freedom and artistic creation.
Solid copper sheet in geometric shape has been ornate with seed glad beads, a vintage red glass and solid copper Bali spacers.
